The Lion King will strike theatre on July 19th, 2019.

The movie is the most up-to-date in a line of live-action remakes out of Disney, which has introduced adaptations of a number of its timeless animated movies in recent decades, including The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, and, most lately, Dumbo. In May, the studio will launch a live-action model of Aladdin, and it intends to launch a remake of Mulan at 2020. Disney is also using its upcoming streaming service to launch such film with a live-action version of Lady and the Tramp.

There’s quite a little more beyond the teaser which we saw back in November. It opens with a young Simba and Nala investigating the elephant graveyard and encountering the group of hyenas, together with Simba’s exile of Scar at the encouragement of his uncle. It’s apparent that Disney is currently coming this movie as a virtually remake, with some of the iconic scenes of the animated film almost identically.
Disney has released a new trailer for its picture of the 1994 animated movie, The Lion King, displaying a new look in the live-action experiences of Simba and Nala.
