Some time back I wrote about the Alexa Prize, a college competition in which participating teams are producing socialbots focused on advancing computer to individual interaction. We are now in year two, heading into the final stretch for 2018 and that I thought I’d give an update to everyone.
On July 2, the eight 2018 Alexa Prize teams, from universities around the world, entered the semifinals phase of this contest. In mid-August that the 2 teams with the average customer evaluations will progress to the finals round. At least the other group will be selected by Amazon according to coherence their socialbot ' s worth, interestingness, speed, and scientific merit. Even though a mix of innovation, innovation, and creativity fuels teams, customer participation is crucial for them to achieve their targets. Your interactions and opinions will be crucial to assisting teams continue to improve their socialbots to the finals round.
