You ’ve heard of the tax that was pink: Women pay for products that were typically identical made by the makers. The only difference is which gender the products targets. This occurs on over 40 percent of all products sold, such as deodorant and razors. Plus, there’s another indignity: In 35 states, women still have to pay sales tax on feminine hygiene products such as tampons and pads. Despite being requirement products (which go untaxed)they#x2019;re classified as luxury products.
