An anonymous reader quotes a report by The Verge: Now that Google+ is history, Google unveiled what will likely be available to G Suite users in its place: Currents, now. The new program”empowers individuals to have meaningful talks and interactions throughout your company, helping keep everybody in the know and giving leaders the chance to get in touch with their workers.” The company says Currents feel compared to Google + and has a new look — it sounds somewhat similar to my eyes and it’s been streamlined to make it quicker tag it and to post material. Posts from the top executives of a company could be given priority to make sure workers view it. Currents is launching in beta, and Google says G Suite businesses can request access to the app starting. Google+ articles will be moved over to Currents. (I am only talking about G Suite posts; personal Google+ posts are a goner now.)
