When guests see”A Space for Being,” we ask them to put on those specially-made bands that capture how they respond to every room. These reactions are our bodies’ responses to our environment, while it’s something we see, smell, touch, taste or listen. Designers consider these inputs to evoke feelings in people. Neuroaesthetics, a scientific field of research which explores the effect of encounters on human intellect, offers insight into which inputs specific responses. It’s the reason your heart rate may change when fabrics touch and your energy level could shift dependent on the colors around you.
