I considered upgrading to the G8 from my LG G6, but determined that the Samsung S10 had features so I went this route, that I enjoyed compared to the G8. Samsung also gave me $300 in trade in value for my G6.
My now, I ordered. Should arrive next week.
April 11, it launching today, and looking through the AC forums, it looks like some LG diehards are happy to update.
Upgrading from the Moto X4. I’ve had the LG G2 and the Nexus 5X, which was assembled by LG. I might have accidentally turn into an LG fanboy.

Year after year, it feels like LG has a tough time standing out from its competitors in the space. The company kicks out consistently great phones, however Samsung, Google, OnePlus, Apple, and many others all seem to overshadow its products.
What about you personally? Are you really going to buy the LG G8?
Upgrading without hesitation from a G6. I could not have been more happy and had traded in an Edge for the G6. Despised the edges and I am staying away from them since they have been stuck with by Samsung.
For 2019, LG’s releasing the G8 — a solid Android phone with a gorgeous design, powerful cameras, and a few unique features you won’t find on anything else.
