  • Being able to modify your PlayStation ID is not without its growing pains. Players are finding issues in games after altering their PSN IDs that may lead to data loss so intense you could lose progress — as well as trophies despite having years to operate on this feature. For some game titles, the online ID will automatically update if you sign back into the match and sign out or when various gameplay action is performed after sign-in;
