The ConceptD 900 is the desktop offering in the brand new show of Acer, and it essentially treads on supercomputer standing — both in terms of its own $19,999 price tag along with its specs. It supports up to 192GB of RAM, and has dual Intel Xeon Gold processors Nvidia’s Quadro RTX 6000 GPU, with 40 cores. This option takes the prize in regards to performance, even though it arrives in a subdued case that appears more consistent with the consumer-grade products of Acer. But again, for $20K, Acer showing off with this one.
Starting off with all the ConceptD 500 pictured above, it’s an Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 graphics card, a tower that is powered with a Gen Intel Core processor, and service for up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. In comparison to most Acer products, this model has a design using a wood-patterned panel onto its top. I think though others at the workplace think it looks similar to a diffuser or an ice box it resembles a humidifier. Acer also touts it may remain quiet under pressure with fans which reach a peak of 40db, although looking at the specs, there’s no doubt that this machine won’t be capable in the hands of creators. This desktop will probably be available in June 2019 and starts at $ 1,699.
Acer announced two desktops in its ConceptD lineup, a series that is targeted toward creators that are in need of a lot of power and especially, a pre-built Windows 10 PC and have a lot of money. In comparison to most Acer goods, among those desktops features a panel onto its top.
